Mr. Govind Patel (M.Sc. Organic Chemistry) launched his dream project "M/s.Star Dyes & Intermediates" with limited resources in the year 1986. The motto was to give conscientious service and quality to the industries of the Republic of India. The production capacity during the year 1986 was 300 MT / Annum.

Our determination, Quality Control and timely delivery schedule has strengthened our posture in the domestic as well as in the international market. The production capacity has soared unto 2000 MT / Annum. We have established sister concerns in the name of "M/S. POLESTAR INDUSTRIES", "M/S. SAPPHIRE TEX CHEM", "M/S. CAB CHEMICALS" and "M/S. REVA CHEMICALS" which are adjacent to our present unit.

We have latest sophisticated testing equipment in our laboratory operated by qualified personnel. The equipment to name a few are "Macbath" Spectrophotometer, Rota Dyer, Shaker Bath, Leather Testing Machine, Anti-Dusting Test Apparatus of M/S. "Ruaches", England.

The management and administration of the Star Group flourishes under the falgship of young and dynamic Mr.Hiten Patel (M.B.A.). "LET THE WORK SPEAK AND NOT THE WORDS" is the slogan at "STAR". The success of "STAR" relies on Quality Control, Total Team Work and Excellent Infrastructure.

The present thrust of "STAR GROUP" is in manufacturing Acid Dyes, Direct Dyes, Reactive Dyes and Solvent Dyes. The production has been eased by the introduction of Spray Dryer in our unit having a capacity of 400 Liters/Hour. The major products supplied are Spray Dried. We are planning to install Reverse Osmosis System for SALT FREE and LIQUID DYES which are currently in demand in European Market. In near future we would be able to supply Salt Free Acid Dyes and Reactive Dyes.
